WLC 300 - WLC Major ProSeminar
WLC 300: WLC Major ProSeminarThis course introduces students to the Japanese Language and Culture, or Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures majors. Students acquire knowledge and understanding needed to fulfill Major Learning Outcomes for the programs, including literature, culture and linguistics, and to develop individual learning plans. The course examines opportunities in related professional and career paths, such as graduate education and teaching credential preparation. (Prereq: Junior or Senior Standing)
The WLC Major ProSeminar class helped me get to know the members of the Spanish department and also the Japanese department. They told us about their experiences as members of the department and that helped us get to know them more and know who to turn to if we have any questions or concerns. In this class we also did a test that would help us to know at what level we are in both writing and understanding. They explained to us that we tested the STAM test twice to know our progress and to know how we should improve.
