My Aspiration.
I come from a Latin culture that I am very proud of. When I arrived in the United States I discovered that here is part of the culture that I am. It was easier to adapt to the change since being with people who had passed through the same taxi as me. people looking for a better way of life. I started my studies and I made friends with people who spoke Spanish but not as they wanted to speak since they had the influence of English. In high school, I had classes in Spanish that had an influence on the career that I want today since I realized that it would be very good to have more bilingual people in this country. I met people who don't know their native language because they were more exposed to English, but with these classes, they can help students learn the language better. When I arrived in the United States I realized that this country is full of opportunities. If you don't take advantage of the opportunities that this country offers you, you won't be able to do anything. in our lives, we realize that not all of us have the same opportunities. For example, I come from a humble family who made sacrifices and continues to make them. I realized that in order for each of those sacrifices to be worthwhile, you never have to give up. I started in the "Middle School" and I found teachers who even though they didn't speak the language that they were concerned for me to understand. Despite the fact that it was easy, I never gave up with the help of my counselors and my teachers and my family supported me throughout my career. I noticed that some teachers who were bilingual were trying to help me make this transition a little easier. The opportunity to attend school in this country gave me the opportunity to learn many things about my culture. Studying Spanish helped me to value more what one as a Hispanic has something that the others who only lived here since they were born don't have. the power to better understand the culture of Mexicans, the customs and the power to grow in a place where we are all united celebrating in an original way, in a way that others will never understand because we are the way we are.
What I have learned during my career is that we have the power to teach others how to communicate with others. The power to learn from another culture similar or totally different from theirs. Sometimes I have noticed thanks to the tasks they assign, I can learn more about my culture.
One of my classes asked us to serve the community for me was how to get out of my comfort zone because I started to interact with my society. I had never realized the needs that the schools had since in my community hours, I was a volunteer in a bilingual school and the teachers required the help of parents to make their students learn in groups. I found the idea of the teachers to be very good, asking the mothers of their students to go to school and be part of the class. This as parents help us see how our children develop in school.
